Implement and oversee project Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs),
method statements, and specifications to ensure full compliance with project
standards.
• Inspect incoming materials to verify conformity with specifications, approve
material submittals, and prepare Requests for Inspection (RFIs) for consultant
approval.
• Proactively monitor site activities to identify and prevent nonconformities,
providing guidance to site teams on correct procedures and quality standards.
• Raise RFIs for completed activities to confirm adherence to design and quality
requirements.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and issue Non-Conformance Reports
(NCRs) for any deviations or substandard workmanship.
• Supervise the receipt, inspection, and verification of structural steel
components for compliance with design and technical requirements.
• Inspect grouting and concrete operations to ensure materials, methods, and
processes comply with approved standards.
• Coordinate with client inspectors, address pending items in inspection
logbooks, and provide timely updates on inspection progress.
• Maintain comprehensive daily logs and manage a master list of all Inspection
Requests (IRs) for tracking and follow-up.
• Oversee excavation and backfilling works, ensuring compliance with project
specifications, codes, and standards for foundations, utilities, and manholes.
• Coordinate soil sampling and compaction testing with third-party agencies to
verify material suitability prior to backfilling.
• Review and approve concrete mix designs, supervising concrete placement,
slump tests, temperature checks, and sampling to ensure quality, strength, and
consistency.
• Inspect formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement for alignment,
spacing, and compliance with structural drawings.
• Monitor concrete curing, evaluate compressive strength results, and verify
surface finishes to ensure compliance with design, durability, and aesthetic
standards.
• Supervise safe removal of formwork only after confirming adequate concrete
strength to support structural loads.
• Ensure all concrete operations comply with environmental, safety, and quality
regulations, maintaining proper compaction and preventing segregation.
• Coordinate all concrete-related testing with third-party agencies, ensuring
results meet project specifications.
• Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, tests, and quality control
activities to support compliance and project auditing.
