The Crew kitchen team member is responsible for supporting day-to-day back-of-house operations at Chicko Chicken branches, ensuring high standards of food quality, speed, hygiene, and safety in line with the brand’s operational procedures and quick-service restaurant standards.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Execute daily food preparation tasks (cutting, portioning, marination, basic cooking, assembling) according to Chicko Chicken recipes and portion standards.
- Operate assigned kitchen stations such as preparation, breading, frying, packing, or cleaning, and rotate between them as required by the shift supervisor.
- Strictly follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures (handwashing, labeling, storage, FIFO, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and utensils throughout the shift and during closing.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries, stock rotation, and basic inventory checks for kitchen items.
- Coordinate with service and cashier teams to ensure accurate and timely order preparation during normal and peak hours.
Experience Requirements:
- Preferably 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant, fast-food, or cloud kitchen environment.
- Candidates with no prior experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong work ethic, discipline, and willingness to learn.
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced quick-service restaurant environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and professional attitude with respect for colleagues and supervisors.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, and cleaning.
- Basic English communication; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
Education: High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
Work Conditions: Shift-based work schedule (morning/evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per branch needs).
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary: 150 – 170 BHD per month, depending on experience and skill level.
- Overtime and other entitlements in accordance with Bahrain Laboure Law.
- Company accommodation and transportation.
Condition : Valid work status in the Kingdom of Bahrain (or eligible for visa sponsorship).
A key requirement is that the candidate resides in the Kingdom of Bahrain
