Roles & Responsibilities – Telecom QC Inspector
• Review and ensure compliance with Approved IFC drawings, project specifications, Method Statements, ITPs, and Saudi Aramco / IEC / TIA / NEC standards.
• Perform Material Receiving Inspection (MRI) for telecom materials including fiber optic cables, copper cables, CCTV cameras, access control devices, PAGA equipment, magnetic locks, racks, and accessories.
• Supervise and inspect installation of Structured Cabling Systems (Fiber & Copper), CCTV, Access Control System, PAGA, and ELV systems as per approved drawings and standards.
• Verify proper installation of fiber splicing, termination, patch panels, ODFs, cabinets, trays, conduits, grounding, and labeling..
• Witness and verify testing & commissioning activities, including:
o OTDR, OPM, and Fiber Continuity Tests
o Copper cable continuity and performance testing
o CCTV camera functionality, coverage, and recording
o Access control reader, door lock, and magnetic lock operation
• Ensure all installations meet Quality, Safety, and Project requirements at site.
• Identify Non-Conformances (NCRs), issue observations, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, T&C teams, Client, and Consultant to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and submit QC inspection reports, MIRs, WIRs, test reports, punch lists, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, traceability records, and turnover dossiers for final handover.
