Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
Deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions to workers.
Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety rules across the site.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety reports.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company HSE policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction, preferably in finishing and fit‑out projects.
Valid safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH , OSHA, ).
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and local regulations.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
