• Review and interpret electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation.
• Manage the installation, termination, and testing of LV systems such as lighting, power distribution, grounding, earthing, and control panels.
• Oversee installation and integration of ELV systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address.
• Monitor on-site activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Ensure proper installation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, and standby generators.
• Coordinate daily with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain workflow.
• Conduct routine site inspections and quality checks to identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure all electrical work is executed in compliance with relevant codes and standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA) and local regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and review of technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals for site execution.
• Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance testing, continuity checks, and functional verification.
• Maintain comprehensive site records including daily reports, red-marked drawings, inspection logs, and as-built documentation.
• Attend technical and progress meetings to report site status, highlight potential risks, and contribute to planning and decision-making.
• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and implement timely engineering solutions to avoid project delays.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for cost-saving, efficiency, and quality enhancements during project execution.
