QA/QC Testing And Commissioning Engineer

• Supervise and execute pre-commissioning and final commissioning activities of ELV, LV, MV, and HV electrical systems, ensuring readiness for energization.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and layout plans to validate installation accuracy and testing scope.
• Plan and perform testing procedures such as insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, earth resistance, and functional performance tests.
• Verify installation and operation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, control panels, fire alarms, and UPS systems.
• Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC, and consultants during commissioning workflows and inspections to ensure timely approvals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA).
• Participate in the preparation and review of test packages, method statements, commissioning schedules, and checklists.
• Conduct systematic troubleshooting and rectification of faults or deviations encountered during testing phases.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test records, inspection reports, red-marked drawings, and final commissioning documents.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and third-party inspectors during witness testing, energization procedures, and handovers.
• Ensure safe execution of all testing activities in compliance with HSE standards and project-specific safety protocols.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements to commissioning processes.
