Electrical QA/QC Engineer – Construction Projects(Neom Approved)

• Monitor and ensure that all electrical activities are executed in compliance with the scope of work, approved design, project specifications, industry standards, client requirements, and method statements.
• Implement the Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and checklists.
• Ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System on assigned projects.
• Review material submittals prior to submission to the client.
• Conduct internal inspections for work executed by the operations team or subcontractors.
• Inspect all incoming materials in accordance with the MIRN inspection procedure and verify proper storage as per Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and handling/storage guidelines.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly inspection look-ahead schedules to the client and consultant.
• Raise and manage inspection requests as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), ITP, and Schedule Q, and coordinate with the client’s representatives for timely approvals.
• Utilize automation management tools such as Aconex, Oracle systems, and others to streamline quality processes.
• Review, inspect, and monitor subcontractor activities on-site to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
• Attend weekly client meetings and provide required periodic quality reports.
• Address customer complaints (NCRs, observations, site instructions, logbook entries etc.) promptly and ensure follow-up for effective closure.
• Coordinate regularly with internal departments, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflows.
• Issue quality alerts, observations, and non-conformance reports to concerned parties for any deviations from standards, specifications, SOPs, or policies, and monitor their timely closure.
• Verify proper installation, termination, and testing of electrical systems such as cable trays, conduit runs, switchgear, transformers, lighting, earthing, and power distribution panels.
• Witness and validate testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, earth resistance, and functional testing of electrical equipment.
• Ensure calibration and validity of testing instruments used on-site, and maintain records in compliance with QA/QC protocols.
