Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for low voltage panel enclosures
- Create detailed drawings and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability
- Develop and maintain design documentation (e.g., BOMs, assembly drawings)
- Work with machine and tooling teams to optimize fabrication processes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Program and operate CNC machines, including punching, bending, and laser cutting machines
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal design and fabrication
- Experience with low voltage panel enclosure design
- Proficiency in CAD software and fabrication machinery (e.g., CNC, laser cutting, punching)
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Experience with machines such as:
- Trumpf, Amada, or equivalent punching machines
- Trumpf, Bystronic, or equivalent laser cutting machines
- Press brakes (e.g., CNC bending machines)
