I am applying for the position of Planning Engineer. I am a Civil Engineer with experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress control on construction projects within EPC environments.
I have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining baseline and updated schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones and execution plans. I coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, consultants, and subcontractors to consolidate inputs and maintain an integrated project schedule.
My role includes linking engineering, procurement, and construction activities, tracking material procurement and delivery schedules, and aligning construction sequencing with approved shop drawings. I regularly update schedules, monitor progress, identify critical path impacts and delays, and support the team with corrective and recovery planning measures.
I prepare lookahead schedules, progress reports, S-curves, resource histograms, and earned value updates for management and client reporting. I also perform resource loading and leveling to support efficient utilization of manpower and equipment, and conduct site visits to verify actual progress against planned schedules.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with professional training in Primavera P6 and construction planning. I am organized, detail-focused, and accustomed to EPC project reporting requirements.
