Electrical Technician

An Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves working with power distribution systems, control panels, wiring, and electrical machinery in industrial, commercial, or residential environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Install and maintain control panels and distribution boards
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
Use testing devices such as multimeters and insulation testers
Support installation of solar power systems and inverters (if applicable)
Coordinate with engineers and supervisors on project tasks
Keep records of maintenance and repair work
