Core responsibilities
Preparation: Measure and mix ingredients for batters, doughs, fillings, and icings.
Production: Assist in shaping, rolling, and baking doughs, cookies, cakes, and other pastries.
Decoration: Help with frosting, icing, and garnishing finished products.
Equipment: Operate and clean commercial baking equipment, such as mixers and ovens.
Plating: Assist in plating desserts and presenting them to customers. 
Kitchen and inventory management 
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing pots, pans, and utensils.
Inventory: Monitor ingredient stock, report shortages, and assist with receiving and storing supplies.
Food safety: Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. 
Teamwork and quality control
Collaboration: Work with pastry chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production and meet deadlines.
Quality assurance: Ensure that all finished products meet quality and presentation standards.
Compliance: Follow recipes and adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
