Sr. Mechanical Engineer Or Sr.QA/QC Engineer (15+ Years Of Experience))

Professional Engineer having 14years experience in the field of mechanical engineering, in QA/QC, Construction, HVAC, Firefighting, Piping/plumbing projects, Testing & commissioning, Fabrication, MEP Mechanical & Civil works.

Development of QA/QC department & document control department to fulfilled the Project
Requirements.

• Review part for Construction Method Statement, Pre-qualification of Subcontractor and
Material Submittals.
• Managing with Subcontractor for the development and implementation of the Project
documents (ITP, Test forms, & Checklist) as per Project Standard.
• Familiar & monitoring with ASHRAE/SMACNA/ASME etc. standards & ensures the work is carried
out in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and procedures.
• Monitoring & inspecting the materials MRIR (material receiving inspection) accordance with
MAR, approved technical specification & equipment schedule.
• Monitoring inspection of all HVAC materials, equipment’s, Firefighting pipes & fittings, plumbing
materials, site construction activities, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, testing
adjusting and balancing of HVAC system as per applicable standard and procedure.
• Familiar HVAC equipment’s Package Unit (PACU), AHU, Chiller Unit, FAHU, closed control Unit,
Ventilation Fans, Fan coil unit, chilled water system all Ducts installation work.
• Issue Nonconformance report (NCR), Site observation Notice (SON) to the construction team
any violation of quality procedure and standard.
• Monitoring the job quality & instruct the site engineers to complete the job within the time
schedule & quality.
• Monitoring and attending the FAT (factory acceptance test) of HVAC equipment’s with owner
engineer as per approved vendor commissioning check list.
• Monitoring and inspecting the pre-commissioning & commissioning test of HVAC equipment’s
with owner engineer as per approved vendor commissioning check list.
• Performing activities as per Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statement for various
activities involved in the construction of power plant as per project Specification & relevant
international standards and getting approvals from the client.
• Witness on-site with owner engineer, pipeline pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage
testing and other commissioning test & third-party testing activities.
• Develop and maintain inspection procedures and techniques, throughout the construction,
pre-commissioning, commissioning stages and testing and air balancing.
• Attending weekly Meeting between QA/QC department & Monthly management meeting for
Site Progress & Discrepancies.
• Attending daily/weekly meeting with owner & consultant and discussing the all
progress/plan/quality issues and finding the solution accordingly.
• Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection.
• Review As-built drawing and operation & maintenance manual ensure the correctness,
completeness and that are in line with project specification.
• Reviews mechanical piping completion submissions to ensure that all QC Inspection
requirements have been met.
• Monitoring and inspecting the phases of quality control of work as per specification.
• Witness on-site with owner engineer, pipeline pressure test and other commissioning test & thirdparty testing activities.
• Inspecting & maintain accurate and calibrated inspection tools and equipment for consistent
measurements of operation of the inspection and testing system.
• Performing activities as per Inspection Test Plan (SATIP), SAIC and method Statement for various
activities involved in the construction of power plant as per project Specification & relevant
international standards and getting approvals from the client.
• To review Test packages (TP) for the completed quality related documents and reports in
accordance with the approved Inspection & test plan, like pre hydro test check list, post hydro
test check list, line flushing reports, and summery of welding including reports for NDT, P&IDS,
pipe arrangement plan, isometric drawings and certificate for the calibration of the relief
valves, pressure gauges etc. prior to hydro test of the line etc.
• Taking full responsibility for hold-point releases and inspection activities have been completed
as per project requirements
