Educational Qualification:
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Botany.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lab Manager to oversee the complete Plant Tissue Culture lifecycle, including planning and execution of lab schedules, ensuring strict protocol standardization, and maintaining a sterile chain of custody across all processes. The role involves managing lab teams, monitoring quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with certification and audit requirements. The candidate will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency while maintaining high production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee end-to-end Plant Tissue Culture lab operations
• Maintain strict sterile conditions and standardized protocols
• Lead and manage lab staff and production schedules
• Ensure compliance with ISO / NCS-TCP and audit requirements
• Optimize media usage and reduce production costs
• Monitor production output and quality benchmarks
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Maintain contamination rate below 3–5%
• Achieve monthly sapling production targets
