Waiter

The Waiter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality training preferred).

Minimum experience:
Previous experience as a waiter or in customer service (preferred).


Duties and Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
• Greet guests warmly and present menus.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, following service standards.
• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
2. Table Management
• Prepare tables before guests arrive, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup.
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area at all times.
3. Sales & Upselling
• Suggest additional items to enhance the dining experience (upselling).
• Promote special offers, seasonal dishes, and beverages.
4. Compliance & Safety
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Handle food and beverages according to company and legal standards.
5. Team Support
• Assist colleagues during busy shifts to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff for order coordination.
