Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
Experience Requirements
Industry Experience: 3–5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within the pharmaceutical, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience in inventory accounting, cost accounting, and managing high-volume goods.
Audit Readiness: Experience with internal/external audits and maintaining compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or GDP (Good Distribution Practices) standards.
Key Competencies and Behavioral Skills
Attention to Detail: Absolute precision is necessary, as small errors in inventory or cost recording can lead to significant financial or regulatory risks.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual).
Confidentiality: High standards of ethics, integrity, and discretion, as they handle sensitive financial data.
Time Management: Ability to manage monthly/quarterly closing cycles under tight deadlines.
