The Helper/Driver is responsible for supporting daily operational and retail activities. This role includes assisting with the installation and assembly of products as required, supporting retail staff with product handling and setup, and carrying out deliveries and pickups. The position also involves general helper duties, safe handling of goods, and ensuring timely and accurate transportation of products between company locations, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and assembly of products as required, which may take place in-store, at company locations, or at customer sites.
- Support retail staff with moving, arranging, and setting up products in the showrooms or store.
- Carry out deliveries and pickups to and from customers, suppliers, and company locations.
- Load and unload products safely, ensuring items are protected during transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Assist with warehouse, stock handling, and packing tasks when required.
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and retail staff regarding tasks and delivery status.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices while handling products and operating the vehicle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Bahraini driving license.
- Presentable and professional appearance; able to interact politely with customers and
- Previous experience as a helper, driver, or in delivery/installation work is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry furniture and other items.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools used for simple furniture installation is an advantage.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Professional conduct when representing the company
