Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Chief Production Officer (CPO) to lead and transform end-to-end manufacturing operations. The role is critical in driving operational excellence, cost optimization, quality, safety, and scalability across multiple plants.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall production strategy and execution across manufacturing units
• Drive capacity planning, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory compliance
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and Industry 4.0 practices
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and R&D teams
• Oversee CAPEX planning, plant expansion, and modernization projects
• Build and mentor senior production leadership teams
• Deliver on OTIF, yield improvement, and efficiency KPIs
Candidate Profile
• 20+ years of experience in large-scale manufacturing operations
• Prior experience in a Plant Head / VP Production / COO Operations role preferred
• Strong exposure to multi-plant operations
• Proven track record in turnaround, scale-up, or greenfield projects
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
• Engineering degree mandatory; MBA / PGDM preferred
