Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works including cabling, lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, and related accessories.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely troubleshooting to restore systems to safe operating condition.
Install, inspect, and maintain plumbing systems including pipework, faucets, water heaters, sanitary fixtures, and drainage lines.
Repair plumbing fittings and ensure proper water flow, pressure control, and effective drainage performance.
Ensure all electrical and plumbing activities comply with applicable safety standards, statutory regulations, and building codes.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls related to electrical or plumbing system failures.
Maintain proper use, storage, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
Coordinate with technicians and team members to complete assigned maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and within set timelines.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Qualifications
High school certificate or equivalent; technical or trade certification in electrical or plumbing works is an advantage.
Proven hands-on experience in combined electrical and plumbing roles within maintenance or construction environments.
Good knowledge of electrical and plumbing safety practices, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and operation manuals.
Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as effectively within a team.
