Role Purpose
12 Years of Experience To manage and control the production of heat exchangers and pressure vessels in accordance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and standards, ensuring full compliance with applicable international codes, client specifications, ITPs, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Fabrication Control
• Plan, execute, and monitor fabrication activities for heat exchangers and pressure vessels in line with approved drawings, ITPs, and project specifications.
• Control fabrication stages including plate forming, shell rolling, welding, PWHT, machining, tube sheet drilling, tube expansion/welding, and final assembly.
• Ensure compliance with approved manufacturing procedures and shop quality plans.
Codes, Standards & Client Specifications
• Ensure fabrication complies with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & 2, ASME Section IX, TEMA, API 660, and API 650/620 (where applicable).
• Apply client-specific standards including:
o Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES)
o Saudi Aramco Materials System Specifications (SAMSS)
o SABIC Engineering Standards (SES)
• Review and implement project-specific QCPs, ITPs, and contractual technical requirements.
Quality Assurance & Inspection Coordination
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure implementation of approved ITPs and QCPs.
• Support client inspectors and third-party inspection agencies (TPI) during hold, witness, and review points.
• Ensure compliance with NDT requirements (RT, UT, PT, MT, PMI, hardness testing).
• Manage NCRs, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
Welding & Special Processes
• Ensure welding activities comply with approved WPS/PQR and welder qualifications.
• Monitor control of welding consumables, baking, storage, and traceability as per Aramco/SABIC requirements.
• Oversee PWHT, ensuring temperature control, soaking time, and documentation meet code and client standards.
Material Control & Traceability
• Ensure full material traceability from raw material to final product in line with SAES and SABIC requirements.
• Verify MTCs, PMI results, and material identification during all fabrication stages.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely availability of approved materials.
Testing & Final Acceptance
• Supervise hydrostatic and pneumatic testing in accordance with ASME and client safety procedures.
• Ensure dimensional inspection, internal cleaning, preservation, and packing meet client specifications.
• Support mechanical completion, final acceptance, and handover to client.
Documentation & MDR
• Ensure preparation and compilation of Manufacturing Data Records (MDR) in accordance with client document index.
• Review and approve fabrication, inspection, testing, and certification records prior to submission.
• Support final documentation turnover to Saudi Aramco / SABIC.
HSE & Compliance
• Enforce strict compliance with Saudi Aramco / SABIC HSE requirements and site safety rules.
• Promote safe work practices during lifting, welding, pressure testing, and PWHT activities.
• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
