Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks including cabling, lighting units, switches, sockets, and associated fittings.
Identify electrical faults and perform effective troubleshooting to restore systems to safe and reliable operation.
Install, inspect, and maintain plumbing systems such as pipe networks, taps, water heaters, sanitary ware, and drainage systems.
Repair plumbing fixtures and ensure correct water flow, pressure regulation, and efficient drainage performance.
Ensure all electrical and plumbing works are executed in compliance with relevant safety standards, statutory requirements, and building codes.
Attend to emergency maintenance requests related to electrical or plumbing system breakdowns in a timely manner.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
Coordinate with fellow technicians and team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems to maintain performance and reliability.
Qualifications
High school certificate or equivalent; vocational or trade certification in electrical or plumbing works is an added advantage.
Demonstrated practical experience in combined electrical and plumbing roles within maintenance or construction settings.
Good understanding of electrical and plumbing safety procedures, codes, and regulatory standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and operation manuals.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
