Job description :
• Maintain the vehicle in good operating condition and comply with scheduled preventive maintenance as instructed.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, ensuring the safety and proper condition of oil, water, brakes, tires, cleanliness, refrigeration unit, and fuel.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear the official uniform during working hours.
• Comply with traffic laws and regulations and avoid any violations.
• Demonstrate professional ethics, good conduct, and represent the store in a positive and professional manner.
• Immediately notify the direct manager or distribution team leader in the event of a traffic violation, accident, theft, or vehicle breakdown.
• The vehicle is under the driver’s custody and must not be used or assigned to any other person without management approval and for work purposes only.
• Receive goods from warehouses or suppliers and verify their compliance with invoices and required quantities.
• Have full knowledge of product types, transportation requirements, and appropriate temperature conditions, and arrange them safely inside the vehicle.
• Ensure the safety and quality of goods during transportation until they are officially delivered in accordance with approved documents.
• Deliver goods to the store or designated locations within the approved time schedule.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods and arranging them in the receiving area according to store management instructions.
• Submit invoices, delivery notes, and related documents after completing deliveries.
• Immediately report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies in the goods.
• Adhere to approved delivery routes and distribution plans.
• Deal professionally and respectfully with employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Assist with inventory counting when required.
• Transport employees to and from accommodation according to approved schedules and routes, while adhering to safety procedures.
• Comply with working hours and carry out any other tasks assigned by the direct manager within the scope of work.
