About the Role
We are hiring a seasoned General Manager – India to lead and scale operations and sales for a global player in the RFID, labeling, and brand identification industry. This role carries full P&L responsibility and involves driving business growth, operational excellence, and team performance across manufacturing and sales functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage end-to-end Operations and Sales teams
• Drive business performance to meet budgeted targets and KPIs
• Own P&L, working capital, and operational efficiency
• Ensure excellence across Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Engineering (QCD-E)
• Formulate and execute business strategies aligned with global direction
• Maximize revenue through production optimization and efficiency improvements
• Improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and reduce downtime
• Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization
• Strengthen S&OP processes across sales and operations
• Ensure safety standards, audit compliance, and regulatory adherence
• Foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, preferably RFID-related
• 10+ years in senior managerial leadership roles
• Proven experience managing businesses of USD 20+ million
• Exposure to managing 300–400+ employee manufacturing plants
• Strong expertise in RFID manufacturing, production planning, and operations
• Well-connected within the RFID and labeling industry ecosystem
• Excellent English communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial acumen with a sales and client-centric mindset
