Hyundai Engineering Company Ltd. is strengthening its Quality team for the Jafurah SACE 2 assignment and is seeking experienced Mechanical QCI – Rotating professionals with strong Aramco project exposure.

Position: Mechanical QCI – Rotating Equipment
Vacancies: 3 Nos Location: Jafurah, KSA Client: Saudi Aramco
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct inspection of all rotating mechanical activities.
• Manage and coordinate inspection activities with the client.
• Review ITPs, Method Statements, and Project Specifications.
• Prepare QC documentation and maintain audit records.
• Ensure calibration and validity of inspection instruments.
• Maintain daily inspection logs and report to senior QC.
• Review MC dossiers and submit to client for approval.
• Ensure timely quality document handover from subcontractors.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Certifications
• API 510 (Must be valid and current)
• SAUDI ARAMCO APPROVALS
• CBT PASS
Technical Expertise
• Strong hands on experience with rotating equipment: turbines, compressors, pumps, diesel engines, motors, generators, gearboxes, mixers, agitators, fans, firewater pumps, lubrication & cooling systems, packaged equipment, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of industry codes & standards: ASTM, API, IEC, NEMA, UL, FM, NFPA, ASME BPVC (I, V, VIII, IX), ANSI/ASME B31.3/4/8, B73, NACE SPs, API 620/650, AWS D1.1.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements.
• Ability to perform document review, inspection, and testing with minimal supervision.
Academic Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
• Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum 5 years as Mechanical QCI in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Minimum 3 years at an EPC project site especially for mechanical rotating equipment assignments.
• Saudi Aramco project experience is a major advantage.
