We are looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient professional to join our team in the field of Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering, and Traffic Safety.
Position Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Strong background in:
Transportation Planning
Traffic Engineering
Traffic Safety
Key Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Liaising with company representatives and government authorities to improve traffic and transportation safety in the Eastern Province.
Acting as a technical lead on traffic safety engineering tasks.
Supervising and guiding engineering team members on ongoing projects.
Reviewing and developing scopes of work for studies and projects such as:
Road Safety Audits
Traffic Impact Studies
Temporary Traffic Management Plans
Providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders to enhance traffic mobility and safety.
Reviewing roadway designs and specifications in line with industry standards.
Preparing technical documents including reports, meeting notes, presentations, and working papers.
Supporting the development of the Traffic Safety Services Department through training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical proficiency in:
Highway Design
Transportation Planning
Traffic Safety Studies
Skills Requirement
Familiarity with international standards and guidelines such as:
AASHTO Green Book
Highway Capacity Manual (HCM)
Highway Safety Manual (HSM)
MUTCD
ITE & FHWA standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and specifications
Certification Requirement
Candidates must hold at least one of the following professional certifications/licenses:
PE (Professional Engineer)
PTOE
PTP
RoSPA
RSP
