Position: Lab Equipment Specialist
Grade: N5/N6
We are seeking a skilled Lab Equipment Specialist to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and technical support for advanced laboratory research equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment calibration
Respond quickly to troubleshooting and service requests
Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors when required
Manage spare parts and maintenance records
Train users on equipment operation and preventive maintenance
Ensure maximum equipment uptime with minimal downtime
Follow safety standards and established SOPs
Support process improvement and automation initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in laboratory equipment maintenance
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP) is an advantage
Preferred Experience
Hands-on experience with major manufacturers such as Agilent, Thermo-Fisher, Shimadzu, Bruker, Leica, PerkinElmer, and others.
