The NDT Level II Inspector (PAUT/TOFD) is responsible for performing advanced non-destructive testing activities during onshore construction and fabrication works. The role ensures weld integrity and material quality in compliance with project specifications, international codes, and safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform PAUT and TOFD inspections on welds and materials during fabrication and site activities
Interpret, evaluate, and document NDT results in accordance with approved procedures
Prepare and review NDT reports, ensuring accuracy and traceability
Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
Coordinate with QC, welding, and construction teams to resolve inspection findings
Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
Ensure proper use and calibration of NDT equipment
Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
Adhere to site safety rules and quality management systems
Mandatory Requirements
Valid NDT Level II certification in PAUT and TOFD
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in onshore and fabrication environments
Strong experience in weld inspection and flaw characterization
Knowledge of international standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, API)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld maps
Familiarity with QMS and inspection procedures
Willingness to work at Ruwais site and fabrication yard
