Job Title: RTR QC Supervisor

Job Summary:
The RTR QC Supervisor is responsible for supervising and implementing quality control activities related to Reinforced Thermosetting Resin (RTR) piping systems installation, inspection, testing, and documentation in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes. The role ensures that all RTR works are executed in accordance with approved procedures, quality plans, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise all QC activities related to RTR piping installation, jointing, lamination, wrapping, and hydrotesting.
* Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), SAEP, SATIP, project specifications, and approved ITPs.
* Review and approve Method Statements, ITPs, and Quality Control Procedures related to RTR works.
* Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
* Monitor pipe handling, storage, alignment, joint preparation, adhesive bonding, and curing activities.
* Ensure proper environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) during jointing and lamination activities.
* Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic tests as per approved procedures.
* Verify calibration of testing equipment and inspection tools.
* Ensure all materials used are approved and supported by valid Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
* Maintain inspection records, test reports, and documentation for final turnover dossiers.
* Lead and supervise QC Inspectors assigned to RTR activities.
* Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations and follow up on corrective actions.
* Participate in internal and external audits.
* Ensure compliance with safety and HSE regulations during RTR activities.
**Qualifications**
* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Valid Saudi Aramco approval as RTR QC Supervisor (mandatory).
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QC of RTR/GRP/FRP piping systems in oil & gas projects.
* Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and international codes (ASTM, AWWA, ISO).
* Experience in inspection of GRE/GRP/RTR piping systems installation and testing.
**Certifications (Preferred/Required)**
* Saudi Aramco Approval (RTR QC Supervisor Category)
* CSWIP / BGAS / NACE (if applicable)
* ISO 9001 awareness or internal auditor certification (preferred)
**Skills & Competencies**
* Strong knowledge of RTR jointing techniques and inspection methods.
* Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and specifications.
* Good documentation and reporting skills.
