Job Summary

The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for driving technical sales activities, developing strategic client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The role requires strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles from lead generation to contract closure.

Key Responsibilities
Technical & Proposal Management

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.

Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.

Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.

Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost and performance.

Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams for accurate costing.

Sales & Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities.

Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to closing.

Prepare pricing strategies and negotiate contract terms.

Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Client & Project Coordination

Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.

Conduct regular site visits and client meetings.

Follow up on submitted quotations and ensure timely responses.

Support project handover to execution teams after award.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.

Submit weekly/monthly sales performance reports.

Update CRM systems and track ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales.

Strong background in construction or industrial projects.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
