Maintain continuous surveillance of the site during and after hot work activities.
Identify and remove flammable and combustible materials from the work area.
Ensure firefighting equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, blankets) is available and in working condition.
Raise alarm immediately in case of fire and take first response action.
Maintain proper communication with workers and supervisors.
Enforce fire safety rules and procedures at the site.
Conduct post-hot work inspection (30–60 minutes after completion).
Keep emergency exits and access routes clear.
Record activities and incidents in fire watch logs.
Report unsafe conditions and fire risks to management/HSE officer.
Assist in emergency evacuation if required.
