Duties & Responsibilities,

Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or computerized)
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Monitor stock levels and initiate re-orders to avoid shortages or overstocking

Storage & Organization

• Ensure proper storage of goods according to safety and quality standards
• Label, code, and arrange items systematically for easy identification
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store/warehouse

Issuing & Dispatch

• Issue materials as per authorized requests
• Prepare delivery notes, issue slips, and stock movement records
• Coordinate dispatch of goods to departments or customers

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain bin cards, stock registers, and inventory reports
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports
• Record damages, losses, or expired items and report to management

Quality & Safety Control

• Check quality and quantity of goods received
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Prevent damage, theft, or misuse of stock

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with purchasing, accounts, and production departments
• Assist in audits and inspections
• Communicate shortages, excess stock, or urgent needs to supervisors

Equipment & Tools Management

• Maintain store equipment (racks, forklifts, pallets, etc.)
• Ensure tools and materials are in good working condition
