## Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Accountant** with proven consulting background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing client portfolios, providing accounting services, and VAT compliance advisory.
## Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of diverse client accounts across multiple industries
- Provide comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping services to clients
- Ensure VAT compliance and prepare VAT returns for clients
- Advise clients on VAT regulations, exemptions, and optimization strategies
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Conduct monthly and year-end closing procedures
- Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients
- Review and reconcile client accounts
- Support clients during tax audits and inspections
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and VAT legislation
## Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a consulting/advisory role
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
## Essential Skills
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Core Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
