Electrical Technical Office Engineer

Job Summary

The Electrical Technical Office Engineer is responsible for supporting project execution through preparation and review of technical documentation, shop drawings, material submittals, and coordination with site teams. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, standards, and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Documentation

Prepare and revise electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings.

Prepare material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Review project drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.

Prepare method statements and technical reports.

Coordination

Coordinate with site engineers to resolve technical issues.

Liaise with consultants for drawing approvals and clarifications.

Coordinate with other disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Architectural).

Quantity & Support

Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation.

Support variation orders and technical evaluations.

Maintain proper documentation control and drawing logs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects or technical office.

Good knowledge of electrical systems (Power, Lighting, Low Current).

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Knowledge of electrical design software is an advantage.
