"he Mechanical Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, and pipelines. The technician ensures all mechanical equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably to support plant operations.
perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all mechanical machinery and systems.Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and other mechanical components.
Carry out alignment, balancing, and lubrication of rotating equipment. Replace bearings, seals, couplings, and other worn-out parts as needed.
Support the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment. Fabricate or modify small parts using basic workshop tools. Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and checklists. Ensure all mechanical work follows safety and maintenance procedures."
