We’re looking for a skilled, hands-on baker who can manage daily production, maintain high standards, and work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment. You should be confident with dough handling, baking, and maintaining consistency across batches.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake daily products (breads, pastries, viennoiserie, muffins, cookies—based on our production plan)
Mix, portion, shape, proof, and bake according to recipes and SOPs
Ensure consistent product quality: texture, volume, bake color, and finish
Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow food safety standards
Manage mise en place, labeling, FIFO, and proper storage of ingredients/products
Assist with production planning, par levels, and minimizing waste
Support new product trials and recipe improvements when needed
Work as part of a team and communicate clearly with kitchen/front team
Requirements
Proven experience as a baker in a professional bakery/production kitchen
Strong understanding of fermentation, proofing, and baking fundamentals
Ability to work early shifts and handle physical kitchen work
Attention to detail, speed with accuracy, and strong hygiene habits
Team-oriented, reliable, and consistent under pressure
Experience with laminated dough / croissants / puff pastry
Experience with sourdough or artisan bread production
Experience in batch production and scaling recipes
Basic knowledge of costing and waste control
