We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Automation Design Engineer to join our technical team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for designing LV switchgear and VFD control panels, preparing technical proposals, supervising panel manufacturing, and supporting site commissioning.
• Role Summary:
Design, develop, and deliver LV switchgear, MCC, and VFD control panels for major industrial projects across Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance with IEC, SASO, and SEC standards. Coordinate with sales, procurement, production, and clients while providing technical support both in-office and on-site.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Study project requirements and prepare technical and commercial estimates.
• Prepare technical proposals and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Design LV Switchgear, MCC, and VFD Control Panels.
• Prepare GA drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), power & control schematics, and shop drawings using EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Select and size panel components: switchgear, busbars, VFDs, soft starters, and cables.
• Prepare technical submittals for client approval.
• Supervise panel manufacturing and perform quality inspections prior to delivery.
• Conduct site surveys, testing, and commissioning when required.
• Provide technical support to clients both on-site and remotely.
• Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in LV panel and control panel design.
• Strong proficiency in EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Good knowledge of IEC, SASO, and SEC standards.
• Experience preparing BOQs and technical proposals.
• Hands-on experience in panel testing and commissioning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to work both in-office and on-site (moderate travel required).
