i am a bgas certified Coating and painting inspector And my responsibility to ensuring that surface preparation and coating applications meet project specifications and industry standards. They inspect surface cleanliness, monitor environmental conditions, verify coating materials and mixing, check wet and dry film thickness, and conduct tests such as adhesion and holiday detection. The inspector documents all inspection results, reports non-conformances, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and standards set by organizations like AMPP, SSPC, and FROSIO.
