A well-established and growing carpentry and joinery workshop specializing in custom furniture, cabinetry, and interior fit-outs is seeking an experienced Carpentry Workshop Supervisor to lead daily workshop operations and maintain high production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise daily workshop operations and carpentry staff
-Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules
-Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
-Manage materials, tools, and equipment
-Train, mentor, and evaluate workshop employees
-Coordinate with project managers and clients when required
-Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Requirements:
-Proven experience in carpentry or joinery
-Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
-Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery and tools
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
-Good organizational and communication skills
-Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards
