Job Title: Playground Technician
Job Summary:
Responsible for installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair of playground equipment in compliance with international safety standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Install playground equipment as per approved shop drawings and manufacturer guidelines
Assemble steel, aluminum, HDPE, and FRP play structures
Carry out anchoring, leveling, alignment, and concrete foundation works
Perform routine inspection as per safety standards (EN / ASTM standards)
Identify structural defects, corrosion, loose fittings, and worn components
Replace damaged parts such as chains, bearings, swing seats, slides, and fasteners
Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain service logs
Ensure compliance with client HSE requirements and site safety regulations
Coordinate with site supervisor and project engineer for rectification works
Requirements:
2–5 years experience in playground installation/maintenance (GCC preferred)
Knowledge of safety standards (EN 1176 / ASTM F1487 preferred)
Experience in using power tools and mechanical equipment
Ability to read technical drawings
Basic knowledge of civil works and concrete fixing
Physically fit and able to work outdoors
