Job Summary
Albahar Alalami Limited is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Female Accountant with strong expertise in Zoho Books to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and cost control. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting management with timely financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in Zoho Books
Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts
Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
Zoho Books Operations
Set up and manage company profile in Zoho Books
Create and manage:
Sales invoices
Credit notes
Vendor bills
Purchase orders
Payment vouchers
Bank & credit card reconciliation in Zoho Books
Configure and manage VAT settings
Generate customized financial reports from Zoho Books
Handle multi-currency transactions (if applicable)
Manage user roles and approval workflows
Financial Reporting
Prepare:
Profit & Loss Statement
Balance Sheet
Cash Flow Statement
Cost center reports
Budgeting and variance analysis
Monthly financial performance reports to management
VAT & Compliance (KSA)
Prepare and file VAT returns
Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations
Maintain proper VAT documentation
Reconcile VAT input & output
Payroll & Expense Management
Process employee payroll and leave settlements
Monitor employee advances & reimbursements
Maintain WPS-related records (if applicable)
Track and control company expenses
Receivables & Payables Control
Follow up on customer collections
Aging analysis of receivables & payables
Vendor reconciliation and payment scheduling
Cost Accounting (Preferred)
Track project/site expenses
Allocate costs to proper cost centers
Monitor budget vs actual
Audit & Documentation
Prepare schedules for internal & external audits
Maintain proper filing system for all financial documents
Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
Required Skills & Expertise in Zoho Books
Complete system implementation and configuration
Workflow automation
Bank feed management
Financial report customization
VAT return preparation through Zoho
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / B.Com
Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience
Strong practical experience in Zoho Books (mandatory)
Knowledge of Saudi VAT & accounting regulations
Advanced MS Excel skills
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Candidate Profile
Female candidate (as per job requirement)
Indian / Pakistani / Filipino (optional – modify if needed)
Currently available in Riyadh
Experience in construction / contracting company (preferred)
