Job : RTR QC Inspector
We are inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of RTR QC Inspector. This is a full‑time role in accordance with Schedule Q Attachment VI, supporting major oil, gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, and communication projects.
Professional Qualification
▫️Mandatory: Valid FPI RTR Inspector Certificate.
Expertise & Skills Required
▫️Thorough working knowledge of all phases and types of critical coating applications.
▫️Aramco‑Certified Inspector with strong familiarity with ISO, ASME, ASTM, and SAES standards.
▫️Proven ability to inspect materials, welding, fabrication, and installation processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.
▫️Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
▫️Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Experience Requirements
▫️University degree in Engineering or a related field.
▫️Minimum 5 years of experience as an RTR Inspector.
▫️Experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, or communication sector projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance of Underground Piping Systems
Responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of underground piping systems, including RTR piping installations.
Inspection
▫️Conduct thorough inspections of RTR and other underground piping systems.
▫️Identify defects, non‑conformities, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Material Verification
▫️Verify that all materials (pipes, fittings, etc.) meet required specifications and approved standards.
Welding Inspection
▫️Inspect welds to ensure compliance with approved WPS, project requirements, and industry standards.
Fabrication & Installation Oversight
▫️Monitor fabrication and installation activities.
▫️Ensure proper alignment, support, and adherence to project drawings and specifications.
Documentation
▫️Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non‑conformities.
▫️Ensure all documentation is complete, traceable, and compliant with QA/QC procedures.
Reporting
▫️Prepare detailed inspection reports.
▫️Communicate findings and issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.
Compliance
▫️Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Coordination
▫️Collaborate with engineers, welders, NDT technicians, and other project personnel to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of work.
