Core Job Responsibilities

Bolting Execution:
Apply Precise Torque: Utilize hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual torque wrenches to tighten bolts to specific engineering requirements.
Follow Sequences: Execute bolt tightening in specific patterns (e.g., star or cross patterns) to ensure even gasket compression and prevent flange misalignment.
Tensioning Operations: Use hydraulic bolt tensioners to apply direct axial loads, stretching the bolt to a desired tension.
Perform the Nut splitting as & when required as per the standard procedure.

Inspection & Preparation:
Surface Preparation: Clean bolts and flange faces, apply appropriate lubrication, and inspect for damage or wear before assembly.
Tool Calibration: Perform regular inspections and verify that all torquing equipment is calibrated according to industry standards.
Component Verification: Read blueprints and engineering drawings to identify correct torque values, fastener types, and gasket requirements.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Joint Integrity: Conduct pressure and leak testing post-assembly to confirm joint security.
Fault Diagnosis: Identify and resolve bolting issues such as seized nuts or misaligned flanges using specialized tools like nut splitters and flange spreaders.

Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance on hydraulic pumps, power packs, and hand tools.

Compliance & Documentation:
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all torquing activities, including torque logs and Flange Tightening Reports (FTR).

Safety Standards: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the OSHA standards and site-specific Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Salary & emoluments: 1500-1800 SAR + FAT + Company Insurance (BUPA).
