Technical Sales & Service Engineer
Industrial Lab. Quality Control Equipment’s

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Department: Instrument Division
Reports To: Division Manager

Job Summary

- Responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of quality control and laboratory testing equipment. The role ensures high equipment uptime, compliance with international standards, and excellent after-sales technical support to customers across Saudi Arabia.

- The role involves remotely engaging with potential clients, addressing their technical queries, qualifying requirements based on available products, and managing the sales process through to successful conversion. The position requires strong technical understanding and customer engagement skills to ensure precise and value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install and commission quality control and laboratory testing equipment at customer sites.
- Ensure equipment setup complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Perform functional testing and final handover to customers.

Maintenance & Technical Support
-Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown support.
Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective technical solutions.
Ensure minimum downtime through timely response and efficient service execution.

Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and submit service reports, calibration certificates, and maintenance records.
Maintain accurate logs of service activities, spare parts usage, and customer feedback.
Support audits and inspections by providing technical documentation when required.

Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate with internal teams and principals/manufacturers for advanced technical support.
Ensure service activities comply with company procedures and quality management systems.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at customer sites.

Customer Support & Training
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Train customer personnel on equipment operation, basic maintenance, and safety practices.
Address customer technical queries professionally and promptly.

Sales Follow Ups
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, or video call regarding laboratory and testing instruments.
- Understand various industries such as packaging, plastics, coatings, and environmental testing, and
match client needs with suitable instruments.
- Conduct remote product demonstrations and explain technical features and benefits.
- Qualify leads by assessing technical requirements, test standards, and budget constraints.
- Prepare and present proposals and quotations in coordination with sales and technical teams.
- Maintain CRM records of all client interactions and follow-up actions.
- Provide feedback to product and manufacturing partners on market needs and opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience
2–5 years’ experience in servicing quality control, testing, or laboratory equipment
Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is preferred

Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of QC laboratory instruments and material testing equipment
- Experience in calibration and preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications

Soft Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-handling ability
- Organized, disciplined, and able to work independently & Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia

• English – Mandatory
• Arabic – Preferred

License & Other Requirements (Mandatory)
• Valid Saudi Driving License
• Transferable Iqama
