We are seeking Low Current Technicians for local hire. Assignment will be at the Kingdom Tower Center

Core Responsibilities
A Low Current Technician’s day is a mix of precision wiring, software configuration, and physical installation.
• Installation & Integration: Pulling cables (Cat6, Fiber Optic, Coaxial) and installing hardware like cameras, sensors, and control panels.
• System Programming: Configuring IP addresses for CCTV cameras, setting up access control permissions, and programming Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP).
• Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshooting faulty circuits, replacing damaged sensors, and performing routine firmware updates.
• Testing & Commissioning: Using multimeters and cable testers to ensure signal integrity and system compliance with safety codes.

The job usually requires expertise in one or more of the following:

Security CCTV (IP & Analog), Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Gate Barriers.
Safety Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Smoke Extraction.
Communication PA/VA (Public Address), Intercoms, Telephony (VoIP), Master Clock.
Automation Building Management Systems (BMS), Smart Home Lighting, HVAC Controls.
Data Structured Cabling, Wi-Fi Access Points, Rack Dressing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and CAD layouts.
• Tools of the Trade: Expertise with crimping tools, punch-down tools, multimeters, and OTDRs (for fiber).
• Networking Basics: A solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, and MAC addresses is becoming mandatory as most ELV systems move to the cloud.
• Physical Stamina: You’ll likely be climbing ladders, working in tight ceiling voids, or standing for long periods.
• Certifications: Often, employers look for brand-specific certs (e.g., Bosch, Honeywell, Cisco) or general trade licenses.
