• Business Development: Identify and target potential clients (B2B) requiring air freight, sea freight, and land transportation services.
• Market Research: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities in the region.
• Client Management: Prepare competitive quotations, manage contract negotiations, and handle customer inquiries to ensure high levels of client retention.
• Solution Selling: Understand client supply chain needs and offer tailored logistics solutions (including consolidation, customs clearance, and door-to-door services).
• Reporting: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of proven sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Candidates without freight forwarding experience will not be considered.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation (AWB, Bill of Lading), and customs regulations.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Language: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a distinct advantage, but not mandatory.
• Network: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
