Job Summary

The Business Specialist Heavy Transportation / Project Logistics is responsible for developing business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating heavy lift and oversized cargo transportation projects. The role ensures profitable growth while maintaining compliance with regulatory, safety, and operational standards

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in heavy transportation and project logistics sectors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for oversized cargo, heavy haul, and EPC logistics projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, route assessments, and cost analysis for heavy transport operations.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to develop transport solutions.
• Manage client communications and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Participate in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with government authorities for transport permits and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with local transport regulations and safety standards.
• Support project execution teams during mobilization and critical transport operations.
• Monitor project profitability, cost control, and risk management.
• Prepare management reports and business performance analysis.

Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
•5+ years of experience in heavy transport, project logistics, or EPC logistics business development.
•Strong understanding of heavy haul transport operations and regulatory requirements.
•Experience in tendering and contract negotiation.
•Knowledge of route surveys, transport permits, and logistics planning is an advantage
