1. Responsible for preliminary site surveys, route inspections, and feasibility analysis for oversized, overweight, and heavy equipment transportation projects. Prepare comprehensive heavy transport technical proposals, including transportation method design, vehicle configuration plans, support structure schemes, and the preparation of transport diagrams, process drawings, route maps, load distribution drawings, and related technical documentation.
2.Perform engineering and mechanical calculations, including axle load distribution, turning radius analysis, bridge load capacity assessment, gradient traction force calculation, and center-of-gravity deviation analysis. Design appropriate support structures and securing solutions for irregularly shaped equipment or cargo with off-center loads.
3 Coordinate technically with project owners, equipment manufacturers, transport fleets, on-site construction teams, and government authorities. Provide technical guidance and risk control during loading, lashing, transportation, and unloading operations.
4.Be familiar with and apply Saudi local road, bridge, and traffic regulations. Identify transportation risk points, develop contingency plans, and continuously optimize transportation solutions.
5 Participate in project close-out reviews and technical documentation archiving.
Job Qualifications
1 Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy transport, project logistics, or heavy haul engineering solution design, with the ability to independently complete complex heavy transportation project planning and design.
2 Familiar with specialized transport equipment such as modular transporters (SPT), low-bed trailers, and semi-trailers.
3 Strong foundation in mechanics, capable of performing structural stress analysis, stability calculations, and center-of-gravity assessments. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, or similar engineering design software.
4 Familiarity with Saudi or Middle East road traffic regulations and oversized transport permit procedures is preferred.
5 Strong English communication skills, capable of conducting technical discussions and preparing technical documentation. Arabic language skills are preferred.
