key responsibilities:
• equipment maintenance & repair: troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial food and beverage machinery to minimize downtime.
• hvac & refrigeration: perform hands-on servicing and repairs for commercial refrigeration units and air conditioning systems (both window and split units).
• facility renovation & upkeep: oversee and execute kitchen and restaurant renovations, upgrades, and remodeling projects.
• aesthetics & decor: maintain the visual appeal of the restaurant, handling painting, minor carpentry, and general decor maintenance.
• vendor management & procurement: identify, source, and negotiate with external suppliers and contractors to secure the highest quality materials and services at the most cost-effective prices.
• reporting & documentation: track maintenance activities and create detailed weekly and monthly reports on facility status, completed repairs, and upcoming preventative maintenance.
• emergency response: act quickly and decisively to resolve unexpected facility issues, ensuring a safe and fully operational environment for staff and guests.
