Key Responsibilities & Duties
Diagnostics: Using laptops, scanners, and multimeters to identify electrical malfunctions in engines, fuel systems, and sensors.
Repair and Replacement: Fixing or replacing wiring harnesses, ignition systems, lighting, and electronic components like alternators, starters, and generators.
Installation: Installing electrical accessories and equipment, including alarms, entertainment systems, and navigation devices.
Vehicle Systems Maintenance: Maintaining and servicing air conditioning, anti-lock brakes (ABS), and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
Documentation: Updating repair logs, interpreting technical manuals, and providing estimates for repair costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive electrical circuits, schematics, and computer-controlled systems.
