Job Description:
The Welding Supervisor will supervise daily welding and repair activities in the fabrication shop. He will ensure welding and repairs are carried out as per approved WPS, drawings, and QC requirements, while meeting production targets and safety standards.
Key Duties:
Supervise welding and repair works (defects, NCRs, punch points)
Ensure repairs are done as per approved repair procedure / WPS
Coordinate with QC for inspection, re-inspection, and repair clearance
Allocate welders for production and repair activities
Monitor weld quality, productivity, and safety
Maintain daily welding and repair logs.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience as Welding Supervisor in fabrication
Good knowledge of FCAW / GMAW
Experience handling welding repairs
Ability to read drawings and welding symbols
GCC experience preferred
