The ideal candidate will be hands‑on on site, leading teams and ensuring top‑quality joinery and finishing works.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Supervise carpenters, installers, and site labour; allocate tasks and ensure daily/weekly targets are achieved.
• Installation Oversight: Monitor installation of joinery, woodworks, doors, wardrobes, wall cladding and all interior finishes as per approved shop drawings and method statements.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works follow drawings, specifications, and company quality standards; carry out inspections and close snags on time.
• Site Readiness & Coordination: Coordinate with MEP and Civil teams to ensure areas are released, dimensions are confirmed, and services are ready before starting fit‑out works.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and maintain a clean, organized and safe worksite.
• Reporting & Progress: Maintain daily site reports, labour allocation sheets, and progress updates; monitor material usage and report shortages in advance.
• Material Management: Check deliveries, verify quantities and quality, arrange proper storage, and control wastage of materials and consumables.
Requirements
Experience:
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor / Foreman in joinery and interior fit‑out (doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall panels, counters, etc.).
• Strong background managing site teams and subcontractors on medium to large‑scale projects.
Technical Skills:
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, details and sections.
• Can translate drawings into accurate setting‑out and guide carpenters/fitters during installation.
Management & Efficiency:
• Strong planning and follow‑up skills, able to handle multiple work fronts and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication with site engineers, project managers and other trades.
General:
• Physically fit and willing to be present on site full‑time.
• Language: (e.g. English mandatory; Hindi/Arabic an advantage ).
• Availability: Can join immediately or within short notice.
